Join us at the Glow Scholar Dinner!

Hello and Happy New Year from Windmill Giving!

Thanks again for your help in making last summer's Community Outreach Project such a success.

Our next project, the first annual Glow Scholar Dinner, will take place Saturday, April 18 at the Palo Alto Sheraton.

If you attended our second Community Outreach Project lecture last May, you'll remember hearing Adam Marchick, Glow co-founder and board member, describe the great work Glow is doing providing financial education, mentoring and scholarships to high potential, college-ready students from under-resourced communities.

The terrific and important work Adam and his team have done (and are doing!) inspired Windmill Giving to offer Glow our support by presenting a evening of good food, good wine and good company along with the opportunity to support a great organization.

We hope you'll join all of us at the first annual Glow Scholar Dinner on Saturday, April 18.

All the details are available at the Glow Foundation website:

Best wishes for a great spring from your friends at Windmill Giving!

Thanks and we hope to see you Saturday, April 18!

What's This All About?
The Community Outreach Project was born at the intersection of two simple ideas: First, that there are an almost unlimited number of under-supported organizations that are having a positive impact on our community and society. And second, that there are a substantial number of people in our immediate area who have a general wish to contribute to "worthy causes", but who don't know how to act on that desire. If you think that sounds like two groups who should get together, we agree! Read more...
